White Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2012
I needed a white frosting for my husbands birthday cake and didn't want to go to store. I made this for a angel food cake I had made and the frosting was better than the cake!! Thank you for this easy but delicious recipe!!!

Broiled Scallops

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
Made these last night and they were a hit! Even the kids home from college loved them. The only things I changed was to use garlic powder instead of salt (on low sodium diet) and added black and red pepper. I also topped with fresh grated Parmesan cheese.

Deb's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
I made this for Thanksgiving yesterday and it was a hit! I had never made bread before and don't have a bread machine so I was a little (okay...alot) nervous. I followed Muffinmoms review to a "T" and it was super easy and super tasty! I did use whole wheat flour instead of white and I put it in the refrigerator over night after first rise. I took it out of the Fridge and let it warm to room temp for about an hour before baking. It turned out perfect....thanks for a great recipe!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2010
Couldn't have been any easier and tasted great! I didn't change anything other than thickening the gravy with corn starch like some of the other reviewers did before serving over mashed potatoes! Awesome recipe for the slow cooker that doesn't call for cream of something soup!!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
This was so good!! I used some petite sirloin I had got on sale and cut into strips. I did add some crushed red pepper and crushed garlic to pot for a little kick! I sauteed the bell pepper in olive oil and garlic and added to pot right before serving over brown rice! Thanks for a great recipe!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
I have been trying to make Chicken and Dumplings like my Grandmother used to make for years now! This was as close as I can remember and soooo easy! I did follow some other reviewers suggestions and used chicken broth instead of water, only 1 can of biscuits and rolled them out and cut into strips before adding to pot. Thank you for such a great recipe!!

Crunchy Oven Fried Tilapia

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
OMG.... so good!!!! Taste just like fried w/o the guilt. I used panko crumbs and added some garlic and onion powder as well as some salt free seasoning to cornmeal mix. Served with homemade tartar sauce. (light mayo, prepared horseradish, dill relish and dash of lemon juice)

Cheesy Creamed Spinach

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
I made this last nite and it was wonderful!! My 17 yr old even ate it and he doesn't do "healthy". I made it with fat free sour cream and 1% milk instead of heavy cream and turned out great...also added bacon bits :-)

I made these last nite and WOW sooo easy and made the house smell great! I used graham crackers because I didn't have any soda crackers and I used chopped walnuts. Hubby kept asking me when they were going to ready. He even had some for breakfast this morning! Thanks for the recipe.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
I have made this twice now and it comes out perfect!! I have never been a big fan of Alfredo... maybe because it is so fattening, but by using skim milk and reduced fat cream cheese I don't feel guilty at all! Whole family loves it!!

The Easiest Blackened Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
It was easy... but I thought the worcestershire was way too powerful. I had marinated my chicken in Italian dressing so mabye that is why is smelled wierd while cooking. I am rating it 4 stars because there were no leftovers so obviously hubby and son liked it. I served it with spagetti and alfredo sauce from here.

Pork Marsala

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
My husband and teenage son loved it! I used some Merlot I had on hand instead of marsala and a small can of sliced portabella mushrooms instead of fresh. It took a little longer than I thought but was worth it!!

Debra's Rotel Meatloaf!

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
I actually have been using this recipe for many years. I found it in a magazine with an ad for Rotel. The only changes are: I use Peppridge Farm's stuffing mix instead of crushed crackers and I pour a small can of tomatoe sauce on top before baking. I also will add a small can of mushrooms sometimes. Very easy, flavorable and versitle recipe!

It's Chili by Debra!!

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2009
I made this in my crockpot and pretty much followed the recipe other than i used half ground venison and half ground beef. I also had no tomatoe sauce or tomatoe juice,so I used a can of tomatoe soup and a large can of Italian chopped tomatoes. There are only 4 of us and I thought we would have plenty of leftovers, but between lunch and dinner it was all gone!! So easy and so good!!!

i usually marinate in Italian dressing, but decided to try this easy recipe instead. My family loved it! I didn't have any onion powder, but substitued garlic powder and used Ms. Dash seasoning for chicken. I also marinated frozen chicken for several hours until thawed. Very moist and excellent flavor!
