About this Cook
To cook is to share, and though to cook is not always easy, to share is always inevitable. Soon I find myself unable to cook without sharing, so currently I am learning to cook for myself and not just for others.
My favorite things to cook
Hard to any form of yeast bread.
My cooking triumphs
A walnut-coffee kugelhoph, my second time baking with yeast. I started preparing at 8 pm the night before thought I had enough time, but didn't see that the dough has to rise twice. By the second time, it was 11pm and I was too tired to stay up to wait to bake it. After I fell asleep, around midnight, my dad saw the huge rising dough circle and just turned on the oven. Turned out amazing, so I guess it should be my dad's cooking triumph.
My cooking tragedies
Homemade salad dressing experiment #17: white vinegar, canola oil, poppy seeds, lemon zest, sugar, salt, ground white pepper, basil, mayonnaise. Don't try experiment #17.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies
I think this is a fantastic recipe. The peanut butter makes it all the more special for me. The only problem I had was combining all the chocolate chips into the dough. I started out with 2/3 cups and I still couldn't mix it all in very well. But hey, I guess no one can really complain about oozing chocolate, can they?

Blue Cheese Burgers
these were sooo tasty on the barbeque! today my mum took out two patties that i froze and i broiled them in the toaster oven since she didn't want me to always use the hibachi all the time and i didn't want to use the oven on such a warm day. i made a marinade to baste with. i basted the burgers, broiled for three minutes, basted again, broiled for four minutes, flipped, basted, broiled for five minutes, basted one last time, broiled for two minutes, placed sliced mushroom and crumbled blue cheese on the burgers, turned off the broiler and used the remaining heat in the oven to cook and melt the mushrooms and cheese. this is delicious!

Maple Salmon
this recipe is incredibly easy, but my family did not like it too much because of the sweetness, we prefer seafood savory. but if you like maple syrup, this is a great recipe to try.
