Chili Cheese Dip I

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
I mixed the cream cheese with some taco seasoning and used Mexican cheese like someone else suggested. It was yummy!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
This was very good! I substituted chicken broth for the wine and cream of chicken soup for the mushroom soup due to personal preferences. Otherwise I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out very good. Very tasty! It will definitely be a regular in my house. My 5, 3 and 1 year olds loved it!!!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
This was good. I put it in the slow cooker on low as someone suggested, but the cheese and bacon burned. Next time I will follow the directions as written. But it was good!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
I usually do not eat chicken unless it has some sort of creamy gravy on it, but I made this the other night for my family and everyone loved it. I used crushed butter crackers instead of the bread crumbs, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Delish! I served it with cheesy scalloped potatoes and broccoli. This will definitely be a staple at our house.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
This was not good at all. There is too much going on here: way too much spinach and mozzarella for the small amount of chicken, and the sauce does not compliment the dish at all. I will not be making this again. No one in the house liked it.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
I have no idea what people did wrong to give it less than 3 stars. I followed the instructions, except I used cake flour instead of all-purpose flour. My cake came out chocolatey, sweet and moist. I made it for my daughter's birthday and everyone loved it. I used the Wilton Classic Wonder Mold cake pan in order to make a dinosaur cake and I had no problem releasing the cake from the pan at all. (I am only rating the cake. I did not make the frosting yet).

Chocolate Marshmallow Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
This frosting is pretty good. I'm glad I always try the recipes instead of taking to heart what others say because I followed the recipe and my frosting came out very fluffy. It is the consistency of the marshmallow fluff, so I doubt that it will be stiff enough as written to pipe with. It pretty much takes on the flavor of the chocolate that's used, with a hint of marshmallow.

Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
I tweaked this recipe and it came out really good! I pre-cooked the fries like a lot of reviewers said. I used onion powder and garlic salt to season the beef. I didn't have cheddar cheese soup, so I used 5 slices of American cheese instead, and melted them with the beef. I also used a can of tomato soup instead of mushroom, for personal preferences. I added a large dollop of sour cream as well. Then I added the pre-cooked fries and cheddar cheese, let it melt in the oven and it was quite delicious! I think I enjoyed it more than my kids.

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
This was delicious! I really do not care for meatloaf, but I really enjoy this recipe. I used ground turkey breast to make it healthier, an only used 1/2 cup of shredded cheese. I also used 1/3 seasoned breadcrumbs, 1/3 plain breadcrumbs and 1/3 parmesan cheese. Delicious!

Comforting Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2011
This dish was okay - nothing special. I had to cook it about 15 minutes longer because the rice was only about halfway cooked after 55 minutes. This dish takes way too long to cook in the oven for something that is just so-so. Next time I will probably make it over the stovetop as others had suggested, but this recipe will not be used regularly.

Classic Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2012
I thought this was good. I used all the same ingredients, except I doubled the cheese. I also did not have time to bake it, so I boiled the noodles and then added everything into the pot and stirred until the cheese was melted. It was much quicker, although next time I will try it baked. It did taste MUCH better the next day, adding a little milk when reheating.

Another Pork Chop Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
This was delicious! Of course, I made some changes that made it great for us. We omitted the green beans and added French's fried onions on top. It was excellent! My kids gobbled it up.

Slow Cooker Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
This was very watery and bland. I added TWO cans of creamed corn and 1 can of water and it was still watery. I tried to thicken it up with some flour, but it didn't really help. You could barely taste the corn. I will not make this again.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
This recipe was delicious! I don't care for sweet potatoes, but it was Thanksgiving so I just had to try this recipe. I omitted the white sugar and upped the vanilla to 1 tsp. I also added a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar to the potato mixture. Fantastic!

OREO® Triple Layer Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
This was great! I followed this recipe exactly as stated and it came out great! It was pretty firm when slicing it - no problems with sloppiness. And it tasted like chocolately Oreos. Mmmmm!

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
I have tried many alfredo sauce recipes and this is by far the best! I think the bad reviews are due to the recipe calling for grated cheeses. It is not the powder stuff in the can. Use SHREDDED cheeses! I bought a tub of refrigerated shredded Parmesan and Romano blend cheese. And there wasn't too much butter at all! You should also cook the sauce, stirring constantly over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes to thicken it up. Delicious! This recipe made almost enough for a pound of fettuccini.
