Screaming Potatoes

I used a good heavy deep dish pan (because i didn't have a good sized cast iron skillet on hand) and small russet potatoes, added about a tablespoon of butter, sprinkled with an unknown amount of salt and granulated garlic, and they came out great. Served with butter and chives, even better. It really was worth the try :) Definitely will make again (and there's so many ways to customize it).

Cracked Black Venison

I give it five stars only because it doesn't require the steaks to be grilled and I love fried venison. I honestly cook all steaks and chops this way most of the time. It's faster and easier. I add garlic and onion much of the time. I also add water as necessary to prevent over-drying the meat. As a suggestion, check the steak frequently as 10 minutes is too long for most steaks.
