Sausage, Pepper, and Onion Sandwiches

Made this exactly as stated, except I did not add grease and I sliced my sausages in half (lengthwise) before cooking them in the sauce. Used hot italian and they were fabulous! This does make a ton though- will probably half it next time. Highly recommended for football parties! Serve with sliced provolone on top.

Baby Blue Punch

Made this for my supervisor's baby shower at work and everyone loved it! Couldn't find white cranberry so used white grape juice instead and only used 5 scoops of ice cream. Can't wait to make again!

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

I was a little nervous due to the simplicity of this recipe, and the fact that ground turkey is usually pretty blah without much seasoning. I followed the recipe and added parmesan cheese, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, oregano, and two dashes of soy sauce. They were FANTASTIC! Soft and moist and flavorful.

Baked Beans, Texas Ranger

This was my first time serving Baked beans. They came out fabulous! Omitted the onion and added a fresh jalepeno. Cooked in crock pot on low for 4 hours. Even hubby who does not like BBQ liked these!

Great recipe! Hubby doesn't do onions so I omitted those, used fresh garlic, added a fresh jalepeno, used mexican stewed tomatoes because it was what I had on hand. Will definately make again!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Yummy! I've made this twice now- the first time almost to a "t" and then the second time I made the following changes: I increased the dough by half, and waited till 5 mins before taking it out of the oven to put the cinnamon sugar on- this way and doesn't burn/brown. I will make this one over and over again! Thanks!

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Followed the recipe exactly with the exception of adding one tablespoon of heavy cream to the cookie dough to get it more moist. I'm sure milk would have worked fine too- I just didn't have any! I also rolled out the dough to making wrapping the PB balls easier. And please note- there is no possible way to make 30 1inch balls- I made 27 3/4inch balls. These were REALLY good and tasted better once they cooled. I will be making them again next weekend for a cookie exchange at work.

Caramel Bars

DO double the crust, but DO NOT double the butter when making it. Use 3/4-1 cup of butter. Like other reviewers I used foil to make removal easier. These just get better with age- they are much better cooled and last a LONG time. They are to die for. I love them.

White Bean Chicken Chili

This was ridiculously good! DH said it's better than my regular chili. Made changes suggested by other reviewers- used salsa verde instead of canned tomatillos and added 2 T or cornstarch. I used diced tomatoes that had jalapenos. Since I roast and freeze my own green chilis I used ~10oz of hot Hatch variety, and also used sweet corn I had frozen over the summer. Cooked for a little longer to let it thicken. Served with shredded cheese and corn tortilla strips. Will be making this one again soon!

Chicken Enchiladas with Creamy Green Chile Sauce

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

I've been making the Nestle toll house recipe since I was five years old... And never felt the need to try something different until today. For whatever reason I decided I wanted something different and these were FANTASTIC! The best chocolate cookies to ever come out of my kitchen. Forget Toll House- this is a keeper for sure!

Valentino's Pizza Crust

I know, I know, I shouldn't rate a recipe that I make a ton of changes on but I thought it might help others. This was great! I used kosher salt instead of regular, added a couple of shakes of garlic powder and a hefty pinch of Italian seasoning to the liquid portion before mixing in the flour. I used it for calzones instead of pizza and as I don't have a baking stone I preheated my cast iron skillet and baked on it on a piece of parchment paper. Will definately make again! Very flavorful and the texture was nice and fluffy.

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Just realized this recipe was on the site. I've been baking these for years (over a decade). A high school friend of mine got the recipe from her grandmother. Easy peasy to make and delicious in taste. Those who gave bad reviews must have messed up the EASIEST recipe in the world. For a twist add a handful of chocolate chips or swirl in melted chocolate before rolling.

No complaints here- followed to a T! It's not super sweet so if thats what you're looking for then follow the other reviewers advice. Personally I think its just right- not too sweet but a perfect dessert.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
