WOW! Amazing.. This was the BEST Baked potato soup/chowder I have ever had. I did make lots of changes, most of which came from other reviews. Like others I wanted this chunky but I couldn't wait overnight for my potato's to cool. Baked them at 375 for 80 mins then let cool for 10 and then placed in freezer for 20 before peeling and cubing. Cooked the bacon and mixed in when adding flour/salt/pepper. Used about 1/4 cup of flour, 1/2 cup half and half and 1/4 cup sour cream, 1 tsp hot sauce, and 1/4 cup jarred sliced jalapenos. Didn't add parsley- fiance won't eat anything green and leafy, but did add extra bacon on top with the cheese. This is going to be perfect for winter!
