Best ever, no-fail Alfredo sauce. Made as stated, except used minced garlic instead of powder. Been using it for years and love it!!

I love this sauce recipe!!! The only thing I change is I have my own recipe for the meatballs. YUM YUM!! Add fried rice & a vegetable or salad for a scrumptious meal. This is my new go-to for meatballs.

This is exactly how I've made dump cake for years. No fail, works-every-time cake. And sooo good served warm with a little vanilla ice cream.

Mom's Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
This is a great basic recipe. I find that I can add any vegetables that I have on hand and it tastes great. The last time I made it, I used leftover spaghetti sauce, which I actually like better than plain tomato sauce. This is on my dinner rotation.

Baked Oatmeal I

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I double this recipe for a 9X13 pan. I usually add vanilla and maple extracts and then some cinnamon. I keep a pan of this in the fridge for our breakfast every morning. Just heat it up in the microwave with milk for a great and filling breakfast. Much cheaper and healthier than cereal.

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
Very good, very easy, and very inexpensive! I made this for my family's Christmas eve meal and got rave reviews. To fancy it up for Christmas, I used a spriral sliced ham and it was wonderful, but Before I just used a ham hock and it was equally good.

Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
This is a great way to prepare pork chops. They turned out moist and delish! I made a sauce using the ingredients from the marinade(garlic, lemon juice & oregano) and thickened with cornstarch and served with rice. YUM!

Apricot Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
This was a good cobbler recipe. The topping reminded me too much of biscuits. I sprinkled a sugar/nutmeg mixture on top before baking. Divine!

Apricot Pineapple Jam

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
Amazing! I used fresh Apricots and followed the recipe and it turned out great. Maybe the next time, I would use less pineapple and more apricots. Great as an ice cream topping as well.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2007
GREAT RECIPE!! I made this 4 times in the last week. My mother in law had a ton of extra zucchini. It's a great cross between Texas sheet cake and fudge brownies. Twice I added 1 egg and it turned out more cake-like, which was equally good. An easy and kinda nutricious way to get a chocolate fix.
