Simple Scones
These were great! I made these in my Ninja blender. I put in the dry ingredients first and pulsed a few times to combine, then I added chopped refrigerated butter, pulsed some more. Then added the sour cream and egg and some lemon zest. I made my dough round on a pizza pan then pressed frozen blueberries into the top of the round. Used a pizza cutter to cut triangles into the round just before adding to the oven. I baked them about 19 minutes (a couple more than recipe calls for), then cut them again with the pizza cutter. The hardest part of this recipe was waiting for them to cool!

Playgroup Granola Bars
Yum!! I lowered the brown sugar (1/4 cup), subsituted flaxseed meal for the wheat germ, used 1/4 cup of molasses instead of the honey (just didn't have any in the house), and used canola oil AND about a 1/2 cup of applesauce. They came out chewy, but held their shape. Perfect for my younger toddler who doesn't do crunchy yet.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
I've made this twice now, once marinated over night and the second time I just popped in the oven after rubbing with spices. They were both great, but the one that I took the time to marinate was better. Love this recipe!!
