Yummy Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
I added half parmesan, half asiago, omitted the green chilies, and sprinkled cayenne on top -- it was amazing!

Sour Cream Pear Pie

A great twist on apple pie. It felt like it would be fancier than it turned out, but my entire book club LOVED it!

Tar Heel Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
It's pretty bad looking but tastes great, but not a fancy dessert. I would do it again but add whipped cream on top and a graham or animal cracker crust to make it taste better.

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
This is BY FAR the best dessert I make. Even my husband who doesn't like cheesecake loves this dessert. I don't like cheesecake either and love it. Definitely double the filling, mocrowave the apples for 2 minutes, add WAY more cinnamon sugar than it calls for, make an apple layer half way through with nuts for interest, and do a crumb topping on top and you won't have to worry about the apples drying out!

Dip For The Stars

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
Amazing! I get rave reviews. Dry out the pesto and sundried tomatoes as much as you can b/c it's very oily. Half this recipe if you're having anywhere from 2 to 8 people otherwise it's a monster dip (and very expensive to make). But a huge hit!!!

Mary's Roasted Red Pepper Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
I get rave reviews with this recipe every time I serve it. I always do parmesan on top (not any other cheese) and broil it at the end; otherwise you won't be able to dip bread into it. Amazing dip! So easy and so much better than any store bought dips.

Curried Chicken and Rice Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
I added cashews instead of pine nuts and just used ready-roasted chicken from the store, and it was amazing! My book club loved it and all wanted to take home the leftovers! Also, use basmati rice not instant.

Quiche Supreme

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
This recipe is foolproof but Clarke's Quiche recipe from this site is WAY better. This one is rather flavourless in comparison - check out Clark's! You can still substitute anything, but the sour cream/spice/cheeses in Clark's make it an incredible quiche.
