Sausage Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2010
This is a wonderful pasta dish. I used Jimmy Dean Italian sausage, fresh spinach, and sliced baby bella mushrooms. I did carmelize the onions first, added the sausage and drained. This is a keeper. Served with garlic breadsticks from Pillsbury. Lana

Chicken, Asparagus, and Mushroom Skillet

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
This is an excellent dish. I browned my boneless skinless thighs before adding the oil and butter. i also added the onions others have suggested. We loved everything about is and will definitely make again. It was necessary to double the "sauce".

Ham Asparagus Gratin

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
I made this last evening using left over honey baked ham. I followed the recipe as written. My husband and I enjoyed it. I do think a little more milk would be better. I will make again.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
I made this the other night for company. It was fantastic. I did use pork tenderloin and followed the recipe as written. I did make it up the day before serving then just put in the crock pot on warm. It was ready when we were for dinner. My guests loved it. I served it with the Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad from this site (added broccoli).

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
I made this for dinner tonight. We thought it was THE BEST. I did use thighs cut into bite size pieces and sauteed a package of sliced Portabella mushrooms to add with the cream of mushroom soup. I also used low fat when I could. This is a keeper for our family. Next time I am going to try adding frozen peas at the end also for color.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
This is a fabulous recipe. We had it the other night for dinner. As other readers have suggested, I used one can of chicken broth and chicken thighs. At the end, I thickened the sauce with a little flour and served it over Dreamfields penne rigate since my husband is a diabetic. After I rubbed the seasoning mixture into the chicken, I let it set for about 1/2 hour in the refrig. We will have this recipe often!!!
