Peach-a-Berry Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2013
Pretty tasty pie. I used frozen fruit mix and let them drain for a good while after I ran water over them to thaw. Got to try and get as much fluid as possible out of the fruit before baking. I used a much smaller amount of sugar...it's really not necessary to use so much when you're baking with sweet fruits. I completely forgot the butter and didn't miss it at all. Will definitely make again when I've got peaches to use up.

Basic Crepes

Very simple and easy. I like that it isn't sweet at all so I can put sweet filling or topping and it isn't over the top.

Ginger Chili Citrus Salmon

Reviewed: May 28, 2012
Oh my gosh you have to try this! I used on white fish instead of salmon. And didn't use any sugar since the honey was sweetener enough. The flavors are out-freakin-standing! Will definitely be making this again and again. Probably one of the best ways to make fish.

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: May 28, 2012
So very delicious. Followed recipe exactly and the flavors were wonderful. Not too sweat. I used peach marmalade instead of orange and I highly recommend trying that change. I also used coconut oil to fry it up since I had no other oil. Worked great.

Best Tuna Melt (New Jersey Diner Style)

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
This was so very tasty! I will definitely be making this again and again. I made one small tweek. I roasted the celery and a sweet vidalia onion for about 10 minutes before chopping them so they wouldn't be quite so crunchy in the sandwich. They still had a bit of crunch but were not overpowering the tuna.

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
So, so very good I can't even tell you how wonderful these were. I had to forward on this recipe to other people at the party. I did add a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce to the mix before slathering on the pork. Gave it more dimension.

Whole Wheat, Oatmeal, and Banana Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2011
I love the subtle oat flavor and you can't go wrong with banana flavor pancakes. These were filling, taste really good and I ate mine without syrup because I enjoyed the flavor and subtle sweetness so much....a plus if you're watching your waistline. Oh and I used regular milk! These can be tweaked easily as well....throw in any fruit you like.

Sukhothai Pad Thai

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
Good flavor. I love soy sauce so I kept the soy in the sauce minus about 2 tbs worth which I substituted with fish sauce. My only problem? Way too much sugar.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2011
I am sorry to say that this did not taste too much like the Tikka Masala at the Indian restaurant I love so much. I think I should have taken the time to find Garam Masala like so many others did. That may make the difference.
