My Favorite People!
About this Cook
I'm a single mom who's always in the kitchen and loves preparing meals for my friends and family. I'm always looking for new, fun, tasty recipes.
My favorite things to cook
Savory foods are definitely my passion. Everything Italian. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but like experimenting.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom's cakes, Thanksgiving Turkey, and breakfast for dinner.
My cooking triumphs
I make a darn good Chicken or Turkey Soup. I'm not much of a recipe follower, which I think is great for expanding my recipe box.
My cooking tragedies
Baking is not my best cooking talent. I can make a good pie, if my mom makes a crust for me. Don't get me wrong, I would never make a cake from a box, I'd just skip the desert all together.

Juiciest Hamburgers Ever
WOW!! What a great burger! Everyone raved about them, kids loved them. Overall a burger I will make time and time again!

Pork Schnitzel with Dipping Sauce
Pork is my favorite... But this didn't do my chops any justice. It's basically pork cutlets with a flavorless cream sauce.

Best Baked Chicken
Wow, this is BY FAR the best breaded chicken recipe I have found yet! I did, although, use regular garlic powder instead of garlic salt, personal preference. I soaked the chicken for about an hour before breading and used Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing, definitely the way to go, just crushed it tad so it had a great crispy crust. Will make this again and again! It's a keeper!
