This was delicious. I added a little more butter. Everyone said it tasted like an adult sugar cookie. Yum!

Followed the instructions exactly and this made an excellent loaf of bread. Simple, yet flavorful. Moist, but still light and fluffy with an excellent texture. Great recipe!

I made this recipe exactly as stated, and it turned out truly delicious. Made them yesterday and between my husband, son, and a couple friends, the whole thing is gone. YUM! A new fall favorite! This recipe turned out great just the way it was.

Basic Microwave Risotto

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
Very tasty, very quick and very easy. I stirred in a bit of half-and-half at the end and it was creamy and delicious! My two-year-old is currently scarfing down seconds, which tells you everything right there. Yum!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
This is my go-to basic recipe. I've tried it following the recipe to the letter and enjoyed it. It's easy to tweak as needed to suit your tastes or whatever you'd like to try. It's especially good with fresh blueberries added in.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
Fantastic! I made this pie yesterday for Father's Day and everyone raved about it. Considering my family isn't big on rhubarb, that's saying something. It was a truly wonderful pie. I followed the recipe exactly except for substituting a lattice top crust. I used in-season rhubarb and strawberries from my local farmer's market, which makes a difference. It's a new favorite!

Spicy Bok Choy in Garlic Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
This was a great base recipe. I improvised a bit and added some toasted sesame seeds and red onion, left out the oyster sauce, and added Thai garlic pepper paste. Over brown rice, it was a delicious, easy vegetarian dinner.

Guinness® Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
This turned out wonderful, but with one major modification. After following the instructions exactly, the consistency was too liquid. After adding about 3/4 a cup more flour than called for, the consistency was much better. My husband pronounced the final product "Amazing"! Even my two-year-old son loved it.

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
Great recipe! I used one less egg, and half the baking soda and powder to make them more like a bar cookie. I added nutmeg and a little allspice to the batter, and added pumpkin pie spice to the icing. They were phenomenal!

Thai Rice Salad with Three Herbs

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
This is quite good! I made a few changes. I'm not a fan of cilantro for cilantro's sake, so I left it out, but I used fresh mint and basil out of my garden to really give it that stronger herb flavor. The dressing was good, but seemed to be missing something, so I added spicy chili garlic paste, lime juice and a pinch of onion salt to give it some zing. Fantastic! It really was tasty, and I bet the leftovers will be even tastier tomorrow. Even my almost two-year-old son loved it, and everyone knows toddlers can be picky!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
These are simply the best blueberry muffins ever. EVER! My husband, son and I absolutely love them, and I was ordered by my family to make them for Easter brunch. I don't rate recipes unless they are exceptionally good, and, as I've been making these for over a year to fantastic reception, I just had to come back and leave a 5 star rating. They are an absolute favorite!

Ultimate Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
Fantastic recipe! It is absolutely wonderful. I made a few slight changes to suit my tastes, but I'm sure it's great as is. I added in three or four large garlic cloves, crushed, with the onion mixture after boiling, and used a bit of garlic salt instead of regular salt. I substituted two cups of the half and half with heavy whipping cream (which will make anything taste good). I also substituted two cans of sweet corn in for the celery. Voila! My new favorite potato soup recipe. Thanks!

Super Duper Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2007
This is so easy to make, and so tasty! I add an extra can of wax beans and an extra can of green beans, and leave out the lima beans. Black beans are also good in this salad. I also add a can of sliced carrots for color. It's a wonderful dish for picnics, get-togethers or barbeques.

Grilled Orange-and-Bourbon Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2007
Fantastic dish! Perfect as is. My husband and I absolutely loved it, and even my ten-month old son enjoyed it. The only change I would make is to marinate the fish overnight in the refrigerator.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2007
I love this recipe! I usually hate meatloaf, but this one is fantastic! It garnered the highest praise from my husband. He said it was better than his Mom's, and that is indeed an accomplishment. I added crushed garlic and worcestershire to add a bit of kick. Also, I use Ritz cracker instead of Saltines. Wonderful recipe!
