I'm a young woman with a healthy appetite who is always looking for new tastes and variations on classic recipes, as well as experimenting with both bold and mellow flavours. I'm a food purist in some senses (no wasabi with sushi and no cocktail sauce on cold shrimp!) but I also love to try new things and collect new recipes.
I live in England now and I'm enjoying using new ingredients as well as cooking and eating healthier meals as part of a slimming club. I do find it hard to resist a plate of fish and chips sometimes, though!
My favorite things to cook
Asian-based stir fries with lots of ginger, garlic and chili or lemongrass; pork or chicken kebabs cooked in Greek herbs and spices with zesty homemade tzatziki dip; roast chicken and potatoes with steamed veg and roasted parsnips.
For dessert I like to make molten chocolate cakes with salted caramel centres as well as meringue nests for making Eton Mess!

Brined turkey. It's the only way to do it, honest.

Ina Garten's Asian Ginger Chicken with all the trimmings, for sure. A huge success!
My cooking tragedies
Mushroom chicken. Ewww.
