Indian Chicken Curry II

I added a few more spices, added some broth as well to make a thicker sauce, but it was an excellent base to work off of. For those of us who like to be able to make a big pot of something and have leftovers. I served this with rice, and today I will be experimenting with it again using spaghetti squash instead of rice.

Baklava

I absolutely love this recipe. I'm making three batches for Christmas for the family. The only thing I did differently is I added one more phyllo sheet between layers of nuts. The nuts kept tearing the dough apart with only two layers, one more layer fixed it. Whatever you do, cut the baklava before pouring on the honey mixture. I had a completely stupid moment and didn't cut it on one batch. The center didn't get sweet, but that was my fault! I love this recipe so much, it's so relaxing for me to make. Just takes time and patience. Going to experiment with other nuts later, I've used pecans every time. And DON'T be stingy with the butter!

Aracely's Flan

Made this for a family get together and everyone loved it. My mother said it was even better than her favorite restaurant's flan, which is very good. It's extremely creamy, and a little on the rich side. I can't wait to experiment with flavors on this recipe. I baked it in the oven, in a pan of water and covered in tin foil on 350 like other reviewer suggested, worked perfectly. It's like baking a cheesecake in that sense. Extremely easy to make and the results couldn't be better. Will make this many many times. Only issue I had was spreading the caramel over the bottom of the pan but that's probably just my lack of experience with caramel! :o) A must try recipe!

Summer Squash Pizza Crust

Tasted good, had some issues making the recipe though. Was far too wet, took twice as long to bake. Maybe my fault, maybe the recipe, I'm not sure, but next time I make it I'll be a lot more careful to fully dry the squash. Also seemed like too much for the pan, too thick, will be dividing the recipe for two crusts next time. I love a crispier crust. Also I added some garlic and fresh oregano to the mix, gave it a really nice flavor. Would definitely recommend this with a few little changes.
