About this Cook
I'm 22 and a mother of two fantastic baby boys. Stefan, 19 months and Ryder 1 month.I love my Fieance. I love to cook. Absolutly love this website. I wouldn't be half the cook I am without the expierance this site gave me.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook Sweets. Cookies, cakes, candy's, pastry.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't have many traditions in my family. I'm in the process of making my own traditions. Sunday has become breakfast day. We make pancakes, eggs, bacon, corn beef hash, pork n' beans, ect....We bake cookies on every holiday and love to give them to friends and neighbors.
My cooking triumphs
My triumph used to be cooking thanksgiving dinner but however, my "husband" talked all the time about how his mom made snow cream. Said he hadn't had it in 20 years. I found a recipe one night, made it without him knowing and served it to him. He was SOO suprised. He said it tasted just like he remembered, almost baught a tear to his eye.
My cooking tragedies
I can't think of a certin tragedies. I've had a few small ones. Like burning cookies, ect...I have the bad habbit of throwing away whatever doesn't live up to my high standards. Drives my "husband" crazy. He'll be like HEY, I would have eaten that. Yea right.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread
I try a million recipes on this site. Most will alot of success. I however very rarely rate recipes or write a comment. I HAD TO write a review for this recipe. I have made many banana bread recipes and never have I had such success. This was the best banana bread I have ever tasted. I made the recipe exactly as it stated. Baked it for exactly the same amount of time. It smelled like it was starting to burn because my whole house had the wonderful aroma of banana bread. I thought, oh no, I ruined it! NOPE, I checked on it and it was fine. After baking for 60 minutes, I let it cool and it sliced up really nice. It wasn't crumby or gummy. Perfect slices of perfect bread! Thanks for the amazing recipe. I will use it for the rest of my life!

Delicious Pumpkin Bread
Amazing. WOW. This is the best bread recipe period. YOU MUST TRY THIS. I used only 1c sugar and 1c brown sugar instead of 3c sugar. I used 1/2c oil and 1/2c applesauce instead of 1c oil. I added more cinnamon and cut out the ginger because i didn't have any. I melted a little butter and mixed it with a little brown sugar and when the bread was out of the oven, i poked holes all over and poured the butter mix all over. YUM.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
WOW. Great recipe. I followed it exactly but added 1c. more sugar and did not sift anything. I chilled the dough for like 5 hours and rolled it out with powdered sugar. They baked at 350 for like 5-6 min. in my oven. They are SOO tasty. chewy and crispy, yum. Alot of people complained that the dough was sticky. Any rolled cookie dough will become sticky when it warms. work with this dough a little at a time and don't be afraid to use alot of powdered sugar when rolling. The dough won't get to dry and you can't see the white of the powder after they bake. This will surley be the only sugar cookie recipe I EVER use again.
