Sausage Casserole

Used 8 eggs and added 1/2 bell pepper chopped per other reviews. Also pre-baked the hashbrown mixture for a bit to get a little crispy then poured the egg mix over the top and baked for the full time. AWESOME! New family fave!

Unbelievable Chicken

Butterscotch Bread Pudding

As is - 4, but with a few personal tweaks I give this recipe a 10. Way way too sweet. Cut the brown sugar to 1 1/4 and still too sweet. 3/4 cup is the right amount for us. Cut butter down to 1 stick (greased the pan with it, then melted the rest) and used 1/4 cup applesauce for the other stick of butter. You don't even miss it. Leftover bread odds from the freezer worked great. Added a little cinnamon and nutmeg and 1 extra egg. Yum! Can't wait to try it cold in the morning. Convection baking: 335 for 1 hour = perfect!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Five stars! Used one reviewer's suggestion and added lemon zest. Worked with the dough in small batches keeping the other balls in the fridge. These cookies were great - but the recipe makes a lot!

Luscious Slush Punch

Made this for a baby shower - and it was devoured! Cut back the sugar to 2 cups, used fresh lemon juice and substituted ginger ale. It was great! Took other reviewer's suggestions and used freezer zip locks - taking one out 2 hours beforehand, and leaving one in the fridge. Punch was great, although I think I let the 1st bag defrost too long at room temp, because the slushyness of the 2nd bag coming from the fridge was much better!

Fabulous Zucchini Grinders

Fabulous idea! Like other reviewers, I toasted my buns beforehand. Also added a little garlic powder to the zucchini mixture while cooking. Since my husband has to have meat at every meal, I used Spicy Italian Sausage in his mix. It was really good either way! One of my favorite new recipes!

I LOVE lemonade! Cut the sugar back to 1 1/4 cups because I like my lemonade tart...also strained lemon juice to eliminate the pulp.

Spanakopita II

Absolutely FANTASTIC! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the directions are a little unclear and off. Cooking time was only 25 minutes - and I had a lot of extra phyllo dough. You only need ONE 16 ounce package. Only a few small tweaks. Used dill spice instead of fresh. Added a dash of nutmeg to the spinach mixture and used clarified butter. Cut phyllo sheets in quarters - and used 2 layers to roll one. Perfect appetizer size. Yum! I hope they are just as good leftover! Watch the video, it is really helpful!

Great with a few changes: I tried the sauce on Round I - and thought it came out terrible. Maybe have been the cheese I was using - but I won't be trying it again regardless. Used "Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce" from this site - and it is fantasitc. I cut the sauce recipe in half so I don't have so much leftover. Used a frozen pizza dough ball - thawed in the fridge - and also incorporated spinach. We LOVE this pizza. It is better than any gourmet alfredo pizza I've had. The seasoning for the chicken is great - and I like the addition of the garlic butter.

Blackened Chicken

Followed the recipe exactly. Didn't care for the spice combination at all. This is not anything like any Cajun style blackened chicken I've ever had - and that's what I expect when I think of blackened chicken. The spices are all wrong. I am giving three stars - because the cooking method is great - and the chicken came out very moist. I took one reviewer's suggestion and let it 'sit' for 10 minutes - so we were able to scrape off the spices and enjoy plain juicy chicken.

Chicken Enchiladas V

Awesome! I only made a couple of minor changes: added one can cheddar cheese soup to the soup mixture and added a jalapeno to the chicken mix. Layered tortillas, chicken, then soup mixture for more of a casserole style. Also added a layer of refried black beans. Topped with more tortillas strips and pepper jack cheese...it is fantastic!

Easiest Teriyaki Marinade Ever

Followed the recipe, and it was too sweet for our taste (on chicken). I could see it on pork skewers on the grill, so we will give it another shot when summer comes around. I'm giving 4 stars, because if you like sweet, this is a good recipe.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

Awesome with a few modifications. Sliced the squash, and salted it, then laid it out on paper towels to dry out. I used half an onion (and will probably use less next time as I'm not a big onion person), doubled the cheese and mixed in with the rest of the ingredients, added 8oz of sour cream. Baked covered at 350 for an hour, and then broiled for about 10 minutes to make it a little more crisp. Next time I will try a ritz cracker topping.

Saucy Chicken and Asparagus

I was really looking forward to this...and it just was not good at all. The crm of ckn soup just makes it taste like a TV dinner and the asparagus is overwhelming. Sorry...not our taste.
