Mom's Scalloped Potatoes

I grew up eating scalloped potatoes this way and I've tried lots and lots of other recipes for scalloped potatoes and always come back to this. They bring back such good memories. If I have ham I put ham in also for a complete meal and just add a vegetable. This is the way scalloped potatoes are meant to be!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I haven't been successful with this recipe, yet. The fault that they didn't rise is totally mine.My baking powder was two years plus expired. I proofed it and no bubbles. I'm getting older and live alone and don't bake as often any more. Everyone who has had this flop, please check your ingredients the recipe is sound!

Holiday Chicken Salad

I hate left over poultry! I'll eat a turkey sandwich on Thanksgiving night, that's it. Maybe chicken soup the first day after the roast chicken BUT this salad is just the best. Thank you! But only the day after the roast chicken because there isn't any left. LOL

Mock Lobster

This recipe is very disappointing. It taste like teriyaki. Being Polish I think it is more of an insult to the nationality. Polish food is great this is not!

Way too salty! It will help if you just place the dried beef in a bowl and pour hot water over it to blanch some of the salt out of it. Repeat if it's still too salty. Important if your watching your blood pressure and salt intake.

Cream Cheese Penguins

They were the hit of the party! I used a LARGE [plunger type] syringe. to fill the penguins and it cut the time in half. I also used an herb and garlic filling.
