Great Hot Crab Dip

Great base for a crab dip. I used 1/2 lb crab meat instead of 1/4, and added cheese and a can of corn. I think that the corn added some crunch and thickened it up a bit. When I make it again, I think I will use more almonds- I liked the added texture.

Honey Mustard Carrots

Wonderful carrot recipe. I am always looking for tasty ways to prepare vegetables. The cumin was especially nice, it gave the carrots a bit of a kick. Not hot exactly, but made them very different. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this dish.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

Really easy and delicious. I broiled the shrimp since it was raining and I don't have a george foreman grill, but they still turned out great. I broiled them on a small grill on top of a pan lined with foil, and I used the drippings from the cooked shrimp (collected in the pan) to brush over them to give them more flavor. They were really good.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

This was a super easy and delicious way to prepare brussels sprouts. I had previously only attempted brussels once before with disastrous results--but decided to try again because I'm trying to get away from the 'usual suspects' vegetables that I'm always preparing. I think it also made a difference that I looked up how to trim the sprouts first, as I wasn't doing it correctly before.
