Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
This was my first time making chili, and I'm glad I picked this recipe!!! So good...I also made a few changes, as suggested by other users...added one chopped green pepper and one chopped red onion, used 1 cup chicken broth instead of water, used only 1/4 of the chili powder, and substituted Frank's hot sauce for cayenne pepper because that's all I had. It turned out delicious, and I can't wait to have leftovers tomorrow!

Aunt Millie's Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
Really easy. I used 2 cups sharp cheddar, 1/2 sauteed onion, and 1/2 cup low fat sour cream. Did not add salt, as recommended by others. This was delicious!

Sugar Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2006
AWESOME!!! Everyone LOVED these. I used a butter flavored cooking spray on my baking sheet which gave the pecans a buttery flavor. The only adjustment I would make is to ADD MORE CINNAMON. But these still were delicious!

Potato and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
I used a bag of frozen (defrost before mixing ingredients) hash brown potatoes (cubed style) - which was MUCH easier than what the recipe called for. I think the whole bag is too much, so use your judgement. I also added more cheese on top when the casserole was almost done cooking (it took only about an hour and 10 minutes to cook). I thought it was very tastey, and will experiment with different ingredients. I wasn't thrilled with the Saltines, so I will try a butter/stuffing mixture or french fried onions next time.
