me and my picky eater :)
About this Cook
I work for a non profit that is Agribusiness based. Research for new products and uses made from soybeans. I am a proud meat eater, and lover of all things bacon. My cats make it difficult to cook many things, but somethimes I just have to put them in a bedroom until I am done - they are little scavengers.
My favorite things to cook
basic all american foods. Im not into anything that i consider "weird". You have to excuse me, i may not look midwest, but i am 110%
My cooking tragedies
"Cincinnati Skyline Chili" only a tradgedy because i wasn't prepared for the flavor at all. I feel it was a tradgedy simply because i wasted all the money on the ingredients and pitched all the leftovers.

Cream Cheese Jalapeno Hamburgers
I have made these quite a few times and they are divine! I absolutely love them. I use the jar jalapenos because I really like the flavor.

Cincinnati Chili I
i really wanted to like this chili. Everyone else seemed to...but eew. I have never had skyline chili, nor heard of it...had to do a google search on it after reading this. I was so excited and made it Saturday night, and refridgeratged overnight (did the whole recipe exactly as called for). total sadness yesterday when i ate it. I have never had the "infamous" skyline chili...still hope to someday so i can be proven wrong by the weird taste i had yesterday. I had fun making it though!

Amelia's Tuna Macaroni Salad
I enjoyed this salad, but found that if you add some western dressing (no specific amount just as much as you like) it gives it a little something "extra".
