Mom's Favorite Baked Mac and Cheese

It was great! Made the following changes, mostly based on other's advice: 1. Omitted the onion. 2. topped with Parmasean Cheese & Italian Breadcrumbs, covered with alumnium foil for the first 20 minutes. I also used 10 slices of Kraft Singles (for the processed american cheese). Yummy.

Round Steak Sauerbraten

cooked on the stove top, meat was not very tender. sauce was a little bland and thin, added a little more vinegar and brown sugar. Next time I will add some thickener.

Wisconsin Cheese Soup II

This was good, really cheesy! I used red potatoes instead of brocolli and added some garlic powder. We ate it with Ritz Crackers. Alot of reviewers said it was too thin. So, I put the milk in 1 cup at a time and let it thicken. It took longer to prepare but it was worth it. Will make it again.

Thai Pork with Peanut Sauce

The only change I made was to add minced garlic. Since we ate this over rice, I doubled the sauce which worked out great! Can't wait to eat the left overs.

Balsamic Pea Salad

This was really good. I made it twice, the first time in a single batch, the second time a double batch. The double batch was a little to liquidy, so the next time I make a double batch I will cut back on the mayo / balsamic. This was really good.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Used refridgerator roll out pie crust. I don't like celery so we used lima beans instead & added a little garlic powder. Next time I will add some potatoes. This was really really good.

Coconut Shrimp I

Love this stuff. About the 10th time I made it the store was out of orange marmalade, so I used Pineapple Preserves, it was even better. I now always use Pineapple. Also if I have it I use Stone Ground Mustard instead of regular. This is my family & friends favorite dish!!!!

Potato Latkes I

This was great. Didn't have any peanut oil so I used veg. oil instead. Kind of a pain to measure and keep cutting shredded potatoes to the amount specified. I just used 3 medium size potatoes & will do this from now on. Yummy!
