Three Packet Slow Cooker Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2015
I have been using this exact recipe for several years. For those of you who think it may be a little too salty for your taste, just put a quartered white potato in the crock pot along with the meat and it will absorb much of the salt.

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2014
Took to a pool party last night and they were a hit...I did coat the bacon on brown sugar and then microwave to cook half way before I assembled with toothpicks and I think it helped them get crispy without over cooking the Smokies. Definitely will make again!

Groovie Smoothie

I used fresh strawberries but next time I will use frozen as I didn't think it was cold enough for my liking....otherwise, very delicious and so easy :)

Meatloaf Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2013
Followed recipe and it was just ok. Not bad but not great...I used old bread slices to line the bottom of the pan so the grease wouldn't spill over. This needs a little more flavor as we prefer our meatloaf to have some zing, not just taste like ground beef balls (meatballs). I normally use Remple family meatloaf recipe and I will try that again but in the muffin pan and probably will be much more satisfied.

Chicken Pot Pie IV

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2013
Followed recipe almost exactly (added a little Garlic to my chicken while I cooked it) my entire family LOVED this and it really tasted so much better with the fresh veggies rather than frozen... Definitely making this again!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
Tweaked a little upon other reviewers suggestions...used already diced seasoned tomatoes, added fresh garlic to meat and onion mixture and used beef broth instead of water... Very Good but not the best I have had...

Way too strong on the vinegar flavor and we are a balsamic family....next time I will try with half the vinegar.

One of the best Brie's I have made yet. I used cranberries though as the dried cherries are out of season right now.

Cheesy Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
We love this recipe. I altered it a bit by using Saltines in place of the rice crispies and I ommit the sour cream and onion and add 8oz of french onion dip. I also doubled the potatoes.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2010
Sorry...tried this recipe twice now. Once I followed directions to a T and second time tried reviewers suggestions...both times none of us in my family cared for it. Dissappointed, as we are looking for an alternative to the soup recipe.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
Awesome recipe...Very similar to the one I usually use except I do add garlic powder to it and I cook it 2/3 of the time with the breast side down and then the final stretch I turn it. This eliminates the need to baste and still gives the skin plenty of time to crisp up and get golden...

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
This was ok for meatloaf. I think it would have been better with Vegetable flavored Ritz crackers instead of the bread crumbs and I didn't care for the Brown sugar in the sauce. I did saute the onions and garlic in butter and that was great. I doubled the egg second time around also. It was good but not awesome...I will try one more time with a little more seasoning and see how I feel at that time.

Perfecto! I did it in a vented roasting bag and it couldn't have been juicier considering it was an Eye roast...I will never do it any other way! Thank you!

SUper easy and very tasty once we added a few extra seasonings. I used broth in place of water and added some milk to make a little creamy...big hit with my kids.
