VELVEETA® Down-Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2013
I made this recipe because my boyfriend specifically requested a Velveeta Mac and Cheese. This is not my first pick for a Mac and Cheese but if you are a Velveeta fan this recipe will give you a great Velveeta Mac and Cheese. I added the shredded cheddar cheese on top to my liking and did not take an exact measurement of the shredded cheese. I also more than doubled the amount of Ritz cracker topping to my liking so that the cracker topping would cover the whole dish.

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2013
I added the optional sugar and carbonated water. I only had time for the Sangria to sit for 5 hours and it still tasted great! I will definitely make this again when I have time for the Sangria to sit overnight.

Awesome Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2013
This is my favorite non- mayo pasta salad! I often can not find fusilli at the supermarket and use other kinds of pasta. I add extra dressing. If I am bringing this to a party I bring an extra bottle of dressing and find guests usually like to add more dressing. Its also good to have extra dressing for leftovers the next day because the pasta will dry overnight.

Seven Layer Tex Mex Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2013
This dip is always a hit! I have made this several times and usually double recipe when I make it for big parties. I found that the dip tastes just as great without the mayo. I don't take exact measurements of the cheese, tomatoes, green onions, and olives and just eyeball the amounts to my liking.

White Peach Sangria

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2013
I took the advice of other reviewers and cut the drink with soda water. This is a strong drink even with soda water added! I did not use grapes. I used fresh peaches, plums, and blueberries. I let the Sangria sit for 5 hours in the fridge before serving. Another reviewer noted the Sangria does not taste good when first mixed and I also found this to be true so do not judge the taste until all the ingredients have time blend. I will try this recipe again with frozen peaches.

Rugelach

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
These were soooo good!! I didn't have a food processor so I actually completely mixed the dough into a ball and it turned out fine. I barely used the sugar/cinnamon and used a lot more raisins and nuts than the recipe called for. I also used orange marmalade. If you do wipe the dough with a jam I don't think you need the sugar. Just sprinkle some cinnamon on the jam before you add the raisin/nut mixture.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
This was the first time I made pumpkin pie. I didn't think it was the best but other people told me they liked it. I might have messed up the spices. Since this recipe has such high ratings I think I will try it again with a different brand of pumpkin and being more careful with the spices. I used the Best Ever Pie Crust from this site which I really like.

Grandma's Gingersnaps

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2006
I read through everyone's reviews and made some adjustments to the recipe. I added 1/4 tsp cardamon and doubled the amount of ground ginger which added a nice spice. I added extra flour since I used butter. I also used an organic sugar with bigger crystals. I think using this sugar to coat the cookies looked nicer than plain white sugar. If you coat the cookies with a sugar like this, only roll the top part in the sugar when coating.
