Whole Wheat Pumpkin-Applesauce Muffins

Very good! I do suggest greasing the muffin cups and not using the paper liners. The first time I made them I used the liners and the muffins stuck to the liners. When I just greased the muffin cups they turned out perfectly.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

I had to use a lot more water than the recipe calls for to get a workable dough. Ended up using about 1 3/4 cups instead of 1 1/4 cups. After that adjustment the pretzels turned out very well.

Brunch Potato Casserole

This was really good and very easy. I did what others have suggested and used hash browns instead of new potatoes. I only made half a recipe and it was more than enough for 5 people.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Wonderful! Got rave reviews. Only made one change. After 30 minutes in skillet the chicken was not done. I transferred it to the oven and baked it while I made the sauce. I think it gave the chicken a little more crisp too. It ended up perfect.

Chocolate Brittle Surprise

Wonderful! Only took about 13 minute in my oven. Turned out perfectly. Tried a couple variations from other reviews and my favorite was milk chocolate chips with almonds. Only used 1/2 cup nuts and it was perfect. Mixed them in with the chocolate chips as suggested by another reviewer and it worked great.

San Francisco Sourdough Bread

Very good bread! I've always left off the onions, but love how the bread turns out. The more my starter ages the better the flavor is for this bread. I use the sourdough starter submitted by Esther on this site. Great combination.

White Chocolate Snack Mix

I don't like white chocolate so I used the peanut butter chocolate chips instead. I've made it several times and find it works much better if you leave out the oil. With the oil it never really set. Great flavor. When I make it for the kids they gobble it up fast.

Double Peanut Snack Mix

I made this for my daughter's ski team and they all loved it. I had many requests for more batches of this snack. I will definitely make it again. I followed the recipe except for the type of peanut butter - I used Skippy Natural instead and it turned out perfectly.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Very moist. It was a little bland and I was wishing I had added some chocolate or something to add more flavor. I did like how moist and creamy it was though. I might try it again with either some lemon or chocolate flavor added.

The Best Meatballs You'll Ever Have

Great flavor. Very spicy. I might cut the red pepper flakes down just a bit next time. I made these small for appetizers and used the sauce from Cocktail Meatballs I and they got rave reviews. I baked them in the oven for about 20 minutes at 350°, poured the sauce over them and put them in the refrigerator overnight. The next day a couple hours before my party I put them in a crock pot to cook on low. Very easy make ahead appetizer for a party. Will definitely make them again.

Saucy Herb Hamburgers

These burgers didn't taste all that great. They also fell apart easily while grilling. Everyone said they much prefer just a plain hamburger to these. I won't make these again.

This gets rave reviews when I serve it. Only change I make is to add some red, yellow and orange pepper toward the end of cooking to give it some extra color.
