Colcannon

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
This was very good. We increased the portions and did about 2 lbs. cabbage to 5lbs. potatoes. Blended them until smooth & creamy, & topped them with crumbled bacon bits. I'm not a huge cabbage fan, but this was a great way to have it. Served it with cherry smoked bangers (Bratwursts), shepherd's pie, and corned beef. It fills you up fast!!

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
very simple & delicious. I would definitely line any pan with aluminum foil when baking, otherwise it's quite the cleanup. Served it with roasted asparagus and roasted red bliss potatoes. Big Hit & from shopping to plate was under 2hrs!!

Simple to make. Very sweet. I think it needs some kick or something to balance out the sweetness. They were a big hit for most that tried them.

Easy Corn and Crab Chowder

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
Great, easy recipe!! We used fresh bluecrab meat that we had coaght in the Outer Banks. It was a BIG hit with all 12 adults that we had. Definitely be careful keep an eye on the creamed corn. Too much sweet creamed corn can really sweeten it too much.

Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
Super Easy, Lots of flavor, even the kids eat it all up. What more can you say!! Parmesan cheese was added to the bread crumbs and 2 cloves of garlic were pressed to dole out a bit more garlic flavor. We did these as chicken fingers and they were a huge hit.

The Best Meatballs You'll Ever Have

These were really good. I did not have crutons so I had to substitute breadcrumbs. I did a batch with ground meat and a batch with turkey. Both were very flavorfull. We will definitely be making these again!! Thanks for the Recipe.

These were very good but time consuming. The flavor needs to burst more. I love pepperoncinis and am always looking for new ways to use them.

Kerry's French Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2008
I thought it was phenominal, my bride said 'very tasty' but she is not a huge allspice fan. I cut the recipe in half and even cut down more on the allspice. I had PLENTY for 3 sandwiches and could've made 4. Served it with powdered sugar (see pic) and sliced strawberries. The possibilities are endless. I think we will next try the cream cheese mixed with peanut butter and mini chocolate chips. Mabye then the kids will eat french toast. This is a wonderful breakfast grilled cheese type sandwich and would be perfect at a brunch!!

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I can't say that there was anything 'unbelievable' with this. It was good but I definitely expected more after an 8hr. marinate. The amount of sugar made controlling grilling flare ups tricky.

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

These were definitely a hit. Used ketchup in lieu of tomato paste as others suggested. A sprinkle of black pepper while on the grill was good !!
