Diabetic Dog Treats

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
I was blessed about 3 months ago with a oocker spaniel (who had been dumped, and overweight)... She woke up not walking one morning, off to the vet we went. She has pretty bad back problems!!! They had to put her o steroids, and said she needed to lose weight also!!! I found this recipe and decided it couldnt do her any harm!!! *Miley* loved them!!! I used a 6oz jar of chicken w/vegetables!! I just put some parchment paper on a cookie sheet and spread out the mix!!! Will make them a little thicker next time!!! Thank You for a *HEALTHY* recipe I can give my little blessing!!!! Miley thanks you too!!! Off to make another batch for my moms dog!!!! Revised... my moms dog that has no teeth and a very picky eater absolutly loves these treats... My dog and my mothers go absolutly nuts when they hear the bag coming from the fridge!!!! I reccomend this for any dog!!!!

Gave 3 stars... I made first steps accordingling..... And very bland, not enough beef flavor.... I added sherry cooking wine, worchstier sauce... and still i little bland on beef.... I thought I had beef buillon, but added a packackage of lipton onion soup mix and 1 chicken buillon..... This by far was the best french onion soup ever...... I gave 3 stars ause the basics were there, but not the flavor!!!!

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
Made this for dinner last night (left out the olives and tomato's, just cause family doesnt like em).... I used the homemade ranch dressing recipe from this site to make this, and got good reviews... I rated it a 4 just cause I used a different dressing and omitted the olives and tomatoes... but will make again... THANKS

Catfish Cakes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2006
These cakes are the best!!! We go fishing alot and were trying to find another way to cook the fish we catch. The kids even beg for seconds... I do deep fry these for about 2 minutes each. I also dip in seasoned bread crumbs for added crispness... To help eliminate the dryness I just add more mayo!!!! This is definatly a keeper and will be making several times a month!!!!

Dill Pickles

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2006
This is definatly a keeper recipe... I have never canned before, and it was easy (except I thought the lids sealed instantly, and had to get advice from my mother LOL) We broke into first jar in 1 week and they tasted great!!!! I will definatly have more cuke in the garden next year so I can make a ton more... I did use dill seed for the bottom of jar then topped with fresh dill weed...
