Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing
This is so delicious and easy. It has become our Thanksgiving traditional stuffing. Over the years, I have made changes to suit our taste. Here is our version -- I use stuffing "croutons" from a stuffing mix for convienence, I don't bake this in the turkey, so I use 2 to 2-1/4 cups of chicken stock (I can never find turkey stock). I also use sage sausage as others recommeneded, and I omit the turkey liver. The rest is the same. If you want to make this a day ahead, you can. Make it as usual, but DON'T add the chicken stock or butter. Put it in the fridge and cover. Then next day, remove from the fridge and add your stock and melted butter and put it in a buttered baking dish. Bring to room temp and then bake at 350 for 40 minutes covered and then 20 more uncovered. So delicious! Happy Thanksgiving!

Egg in a Boat
I love all the different names for this recipe. We call it "Egg in a Hole." My son asks for it at least 2x a week. I flip the bread/egg and cook both sides in the pan, and I don't break the egg until it's on the plate. So many variations -- I'm sure they are all great versions!!
