Broccoli Salad

This recipe has been a favorite of our family for the last 10yrs. One word of caution though...You MUST double or triple the recipe as it's very addicting and goes so fast! So quick and easy to make, especially GREAT for picnics!~

Broccoli Rice Side Dish

Went to make this and found out I didn't have the cheese on hand and the only thing I could find at the store was a medium hot cheese jalapeno dip. The peppers gave it just a hint of spicyness that my family loved so it turned out to be a GR8 hit after all. You can also substitute cream of mushroom soup instead of the cream of chicken and it still is a tasty side dish

Bacon Water Chestnut Wraps

I've made these over the past decade and no one ever seems to get tired of these tasty morsels! I usually have to make a double batch in order for me to get any. They go well especially for the holidays

Rum Cake I

I think the person missed a key element...The cake glaze needs to be drizzled IMMEDIATELY on warm cake, NOT after it cools. Every recipe I have seen uses this method. This allows for better soaking into the cake for setting. Just like another person said, even though I tried to use a little more flavor in the cake, it STILL tasted like the 'box cake' it was made of.
