Greek Chicken Burgers with Feta

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
These were surprisingly good - I had some ground chicken in the freezer that needed to be used up, plus all the ingredients for this recipe were on hand, so it was a good choice. The feta part was a bit tricky for the first pattie, but the rest were easy, and the cheese didn't ooze out which they were cooking - I did mine in the skillet, just because I was too lazy to fire up the BBQ. Next time, I'll make them with turkey in the skillet, then put them on the BBQ.

Roasted Garlic Zucchini and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2011
The ingredients are great, but I found this all a bit of a "smush" when it came out of the oven. A good excuse to taste garlic, though!

Baked Hot Dog Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
I'm a hot dog lover, and these were perfect! Yummy! I served them with Texas Baked Beans, and made a wonderful, "comfort food" meal for us.

Texas-Style Baked Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
An excellent and delicious supper! I didn't have chile peppers, so I used sliced jalapenos in a jar, and half a pound each of ground beef and Jimmy Dean sausage. It was just spicy enough for us- I served Baked Hot Dog Sandwiches, also on this site, with the beans - a meat-lover's supper for sure!

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
The sauce was wonderful, but I followed another reviewer's advice to put the wings in the slow cooker with just a little water- I used chicken broth- for 4 hours on low, then one hour in the oven at 350 degrees with the sauce added before roasting them. They were excellent, my company enjoyed them, and we'll be licking our fingers again tomorrow night when we finish them up!

Parmesan Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
The ingredients are tasty enough, but it looks awful! I prepared it twice, and my husband- who will eat just about anything- scraped off the rice mixture, and ate the chicken .
