Sweet and Spicy Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2013
What a fun and different way to serve green beans. These were inhaled. INHALED I tell you! And the recipe still keeps these green beans healthy to eat.

Cherry Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2013
Definitely use all the cherries called for. I cut back on the amount and regretted it. Dark sweet cherries aren't as sweet tasting as the typical red cherries we are probably thinking of. Use Boston lettuce leaves as anything else just rips and gets messy.

Easy Mexican Hot Chocolate

The chocolate syrup adds that extra richness that is sometimes missing in powdered instant chocolate mixes. Yummy!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2013
This is devoured by my family. It makes way too much dressing so cut the dressing ingredients in half. Also, cut out the oil. It won't be missed.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2013
Was trying out this recipe when I learned that 11 people were coming to dinner! Uhhh...quick, increase the ingredients and hope this soup is a winner. It was a huge hit with not a drop left in the pot. I did not add the salt, opting for people to salt it themselves which no one did. I would reduce the pepper to 1/4 teaspoon next time. Served with a nice chunk of homemade, rustic bread and a green salad and you have a cold weather, comfort hit!

Garlic Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2013
These were too pungent for my taste but...after sitting in the fridge for two day and rinsing with warm water, the taste remained imbedded in the potatoes but with less of a vinegar tang. And the oil is rinsed away. The flavor is diiiiiiivine!

Strawberry Peach Cups

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2007
Refreshing and healthy with a little bit of decadence thrown on top with the cream cheese/whip cream topping. My kids snarfed this. The topping was enough for 8 servings (instead of the listed 4) so we used the leftovers for fruit dipping as an after-school snack.

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

Served this to people that don't usually eat fish and they gobbled it up. The salsa is awesome too.

Blueberry Crumb Bars

Oh these are yummy goodness! I subbed half of the white sugar with brown sugar as mentioned in one of the reviews. Fantastic! Even had a college kid ask if he could take more home with him.

Definitely only need to make half of the dressing per recipe. It's more than plenty. Kids loved it.

Strawberry Summer Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
As others have said, you'll need to cut the dressing ingredients in half or you will half a sloppy goop. Served it once and it was requested for a birthday dinner the next night. This is an easy and fun tasting salad. The poppy seeds put it over the top.

Non-Dairy Chocolate Cake with German Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2013
The cake is very dense and heavy. This isn't a bad thing but just different from what we're used to. You would not know any of this dessert, including the frosting, was vegetarian. And like the recipe states, the frosting (which made more than needed to frost the cake) is great as a pudding!

South Indian Chickpea Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
Fun combination of ingredients but I gave it a 4-star rating since I would prefer some sort of dressing to go with it which the recipe doesn't include.
