Classic Thanksgiving Dressing With Parsley, Sage and Thyme

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2013
My family all agrees, this was by far my best Thanksgiving stuffing yet. My only changes (because everyone has their own flare on dressing) is the following: I omit the celery (not a fan) & added Craisins & sauteed fresh minced garlic with the onion. This stuffing was such a hit there was none left over.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2013
This was a hit at Thanksgiving. Used fresh green beans & added 2 cloves minced fresh garlic. I mixed in 1 cup of the cheese with the mixture, than added the other cup on top. This is by far the best green bean casserole I have had & it will become a staple at all future Thanksgiving dinners.

Made these for a potluck & they were a hit! I didn't change a thing in the recipe. Best deviled eggs I've ever had! This will be my "go-to" deviled egg recipe from now on!

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I made this for my Christmas Eve feast and it was DELICIOUS and so very easy to prepare. This was my attempt at making Prime Rib and I couldn't have picked a better recipe...IT WAS A SUCCESS! It made for great left-over sandwiches and salads as well! I will definitely make this recipe again and won't change a thing.

Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
This recipe was a HIT for my Christmas Eve Feast! I followed every step of the directions and it came out so rich and delicious! My family ate it all up. I will make these potatoes from now on and the ONLY thing I will change is making a double batch so we can have left-overs.

Easiest BBQ Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2007
This was okay. Putting it together, my husband thought it would be much more flavorful than it was. I even used the half BBQ sauce, half ketchup but it just wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2007
I was skeptical at first (especially because my husband is so picky) but it got such rave reviews I had to try it. DELICIOUS!!! I will continue to make this time and again! It has such a great flavor to it. I'll probably throw in a few hot sausages with the sweet next time to seee how that tastes.

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
This was the first time I made a ham that didn't already come with the glaze and it was a HIT! The ONLY thing I changed was that I cooked the ham in one of those Reynolds bags. Then, when it came time to add the glaze, I got rid of the bag completely and continued with the directions listed. It made for a WONDERFUL tasting ham that was so moist and juicy. I will be making this my official Christmas ham recipe from now on!

Apple Pie Shot

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
I expected this to be much sweeter than it was and it may have gone down better if it had. Perhaps adding a little Apple Pucker to it.

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
This was pretty good. I took the advice of others and microwaved the potatoes for about 5 min, but they STILL weren't cooked through after following the specified time (it took about an extra 2 hours). Other than that, the dish was pretty good, nice and cheesy, but it could have had a little more flavoring to it.
