Karen's Cookie Dough Brownies

There is something missing in the cookie dough part of this, even with the choc chips in it. It almost tastes like chocolate chip cookie dough but not quite. Lack of eggs may be the difference. But, my family still liked them and they were easy to make. The dough layer adhered fine to the brownies but I had a little trouble with the chocolate layer not adhering. Could be because I put them in the freezer as another reviewer recommended.

Taco Pie

My family loves this. Instead of the sour cream, I poured enchilada sauce over top of the meat and crust. I doubled the recipe in an 11x15 pan and it's the perfect size to eat for several meals during our busy week.

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

First time making fondant and it came out great. I used it to decorate cookies. While the texture is definitely different, it tastes just like buttercream frosting. No problems with greasiness by using 1/2 cup of shortening. No problem with cracking and was easy to make with the hook attachment of my stand mixer. I used gel food coloring and it worked out well. Thanks for a great recipe.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Great recipe. I used gel food coloring to dye the dough for valentine's cookie hearts because I didn't have time to frost the cookies. The dough took the color well. I'll be using this over and over for cookie pops.

Play Dough Cookies

These are delicious and so cute. It's definitely best to work with well chilled dough. I dipped the back of the cookies in Wilton candy melts in a coordinating color. This covered up the browning from cooking and added stability to the cookie so that it stayed on the stick better.

Sausage Egg Casserole

Very easy. My husband loved it. Great flavors. I made the egg mixture 2 days before and put the remainder of it together right before cooking. It was light and fluffy. Will make again.
