Great recipe! I tried it once and turned out perfect. Easy for those who don't want to spend all day on perfect fudge! Tastes great too!

Tex-Mex Lasagna

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
I found that the meat sauce didn't make enough nor was just one 16 oz of cottage cheese enough for a large pan. I think it would have probably fit better in an 8x8 pan as I was spread pretty thin. I think it would be better as a chip dip, just kinda runny for me. The flavor was very good though, just needs a little tweaking in my opinion!

Chocolate Pecan Delite

This is just perfect. Rich, but I like it that way. Turned out perfect, my husband thought it had too many nuts so obviously you can vary this! I loved it! Quick too!

Poppy Seed Bundt Cake III

Couldn't be any easier! Great recipe, so easy to make. It looks beautiful and tastes even better. It's so fluffy and light...! I made a simple glaze that consisted of powdered sugar, vanilla and milk and it completed this cake!! YUM, thanks!

Pastry for Double Pie-Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
Not impressed! I've made home-made crusts in the past and I had a terrible time making this, it kept crumbling as I tried to roll it out and I had to work hard to get it to stretch to cover the bottom! I'll be looking for a different recipe.

Peach Cobbler II

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2007
It turned out nearly perfect. I actually might have liked a little more sugar in it so next time I'll add a bit more, but otherwise it is great. My kids are gobbling it up as we speak!

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2007
Wonderful recipe! I've made this variation in the past, but enjoyed the twist with the eggs. The only thing I did differently was instead of seasoning the steaks before dipping in flour, I put all my seasoning in the flour mixture. I added a little onion powder as well. It was tasty!

Awesome Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
Simple enough to follow for me! Tastes absolutley delicious. I guess I did it a little different. After my chicken boiled and simmered I sliced up the carrots and celeray and added them along with the whole onion for an hour instead of doing the whole pieces to cut later. I think it just saved some time and the veggies were still perfectly tender. Goes great with a dinner roll! I didn't use the lemon grass and it's still delicious so if you don't have this don't fret as it turns out fine!

Instant Pistachio Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
Couldn't be any simpler! It tastes great and looks good. I just made this for Thanksgiving and the kids gobbled it up. I used homemade whipped topping and added a little more than 8oz as called for because it was still too thick. I also used the mini flavored marshmallows for added festive colors and flavor. It's yummy and so easy!

Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
I did as other instructed and I chilled my metal bowl and my beaters in the freezer for about 25 minutes prior to making this. I also set the bowl on top of a frozen bag of veggies to keep it cold as mixing. I beat on medium speed for several minutes and it was ready! I did add about 1 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar and I thought it was the perfect amount! Set up nice and paired well with my fruit salad!

Ground Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
Tasty..tasty! I made a few minor provisions. I used the combined cream of mushroom and chicken can of soup which I think was amazing. I also omitted the peppers and used a can of diced green chilies. I sprinkled the remaining meat ontop when baking. MMMM..also don't need quite as much meat.

Ribs Fantastic

This is fail proof! The sauce is perfect, the perfect amount of zip! I cooked them uncovered for the first 1.5 hours and then covered for the remaining 1.5 hours. I also had a little sauce left which I used to baste them with after cooking. Thanks so much!

Strawberry Crepe Roll-Ups

I thought this was simple and tasty! I didn't do the dietic version so I used 2% milk and instead of the egg substitute I used 3 regular eggs. It came out perfect. I also used a little strawberry syrup to drizzle over top. Yum..thanks!
