Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2012
I made these exactly as stated, except I did not put the dough in the fridge. They are great! I got 48 decent size cookies from the recipe .... I can't imagine only 24 cookies - they would be huge!

Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2012
Delicious! I forgot the vanilla but I don't think it made any difference. I started checking the cookies after 6 minutes and took them at 7 minutes - it was perfect.

Grandma's Hash Browns

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
I had high hopes for these based on the reviews but I must have done something wrong. First of all, the shredded potatoes did not stick together when we cooked them - they were very hard to flip and serve as they kinda fell apart. Secondly, the taste was quite bland (which could be easily fixed by adding more seasoning).

Buttermilk Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
These muffins were good but dry. Also, I think the yield might be off. I doubled the recipe and got 28 muffins!

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
Yum! I only had cinnamon and ginger on hand so I used 2-2.5 tsp. of each; used 2.5 cups of sugar; used half whole wheat and half all purpose flour. My kids are gobbling it up!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
My family loves this recipe! I never have heavy cream on hand so I use milk and/or light cream. The last few times, I have cut the chicken in half.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
Excellent! They came out of the oven less than 20 minutes ago and I have already eaten two. I used vanilla because that was all I had and omitted the vanilla. These muffins are my new favourite recipe! Next time, I will try adding some Skor bits just to change it up a bit.

Fabulous!! I used a mixture of berries - blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries - all fresh, and this was the best dessert I have had in ages!!

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
As others said, these muffins are not overly sweet ..... but that's a good thing for me! Many muffins are as sweet as cupcakes but these aren't. I omitted the sugar topping. Also upped the milk to 1 cup, based on other reviews, but still found them a little drier than I prefer. Next time, I will also add some vanilla yogurt.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
I was mainly looking for a recipe for a crumb topping. I made this topping for a pie of fresh strawberries. It was delicious the first time we ate it. The next day, after heating up the leftovers, it was even better! The topping was slightly too sweet for my taste but my family had no problem with the sweetness.
