42 yr old man, been with the little woman and her 3 kids for 15 yrs. Been cooking pretty much for the whole of my life. My dad was the cook in the family and started us kids cooking standin on chairs at the counter. It's funny our kids are the first in the dining room come dinner but, I cant get them in the kitchen to save their own lives, if it dont work in the microwave it aint worth the time. Just about anything we can cook outdoors on the grill, I am partial to Tri-tip and pork tenderloin, the rest would prefer I soil my grill with shellfish of any kind Our big family get together is 4th of july, both sides of the family come together for a day around the pool, BBQ and off to the beach for fireworks at night, over the years each family unit has developed their own signature recipe that they bring only to this gathering, something crazy good for everyone. With my families busy schedule I sometimes think every meal I cook is a triumph, but seriously it was probably creating my own rub and learning how to properly use my Weber Kettle as a smoker (summer 08), apple smoked pork tenderloin Mmmm Mmmm Good!!! Baked Mac and Cheese, It is the only food I can remember that every member of the family refused to eat, to this day I have no idea what I did wrong and will probably never find out as I have been banished from Mac and Cheesedom by unanimous decision
