Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2013
I agree with others who say it's a bit sweet, but I would definitely make it again! I made it for a Valentine's Day Party and used a heart shaped cookie cutter to make the cinnamon chips shaped like hearts. I used raspberry preserves. While I cut the apples, I had a bowl filled with 1/2 orange juice and half water nearby and soaked them for a few minutes to prevent browning. Overall it's delicious, simple, and an inexpensive way to bring fruit to a party!

Very good. My husband likes a vinegar taste, so I doubled the recipe and added a few tsp of vinegar to taste.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2012
I just made this and it was SOOOO good! I have made as directed before and it's great. This time I omitted the onions (only b/c nursing baby doesn't tolerate them) and it was still great. I also used a whole lb of sweet italian sausage and a half lb of hamburger. I also stirred the sour cream into the pasta rather than layering as recommended by another review. I really think this is the best baked ziti! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Peanut Blossoms

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
Delicious! This is the recipe a friend gave me after trying hers and thinking they were the best I ever had! I used Bisquik. The only think I would recommend is making 2 batches. I only got 36 cookies out of mine, and since they're so good, they go quickly! Thanks for the recipe! Enjoy!

Shrimp and Crab Bisque

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2010
This recipe is phenomenal! It made me feel like a chef!!! I can never get soup quite right, but this was so easy! I did make these changes based on others recommendations: add 1 extra TBS each fo flour and butter, no white pepper (because I didn't have any), all crab, no shrimp. To cut down on cost, I actually ended up buying a half pound of real crab, and a half of imitation. It was fine for us, but if I were making it for guests, I'd recommend using all real crab! I added paprika for color and Old Bay to taste! I served it in french bread bread bowls! Delicious!

Fabulous French Loaves

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
I absolutely love this bread! And my husband is always requesting this! As for the kneeding for 8 minutes, I put it in the kitchen aid and use the hook attachment and press go, and set a timer for 8 minutes, and voila- it's done! All I have to do is push the dough down every once in a while! I've made this a few times and it's delicious!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2008
These are incredible! I have never liked brownies from scratch, but I will never go back to boxed! I did not use the icing, and I added a handful of semisweet chips. Yum!! My husband raved about them as well! Thank you for the recipe. The brownies are outstanding!

Very Good! And very easy! I also used all chicken broth, and canned carrots, and it still tasted great.

Quick Chocolate Trifle

I have been making this for years, it is easy, and everyone's favorite!! Also good with a fresh banana on the side. Just don't mix it in, of course, because they turn brown.
