Cracked Sugar Cookies I
These were PERFECT! This recipe was exactly what I was hoping for. I don't prefer the rolled out ones that are crunchy or with icing. I like the cracked ones, soft centers with the course sugar crystals on top and these couldn't have turned out any better. SO YUMMY!! I did add about 1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest. PERFECT! Thank you!

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are EXCELLENT and I'm glad they turned out to be just what I was looking for. I'm not a cookie baker but they came out just the way I wanted at 350 for 12 minutes. I live in Vegas and would make special trips to the Toll House shop at the Miracle Mile Shops for their cookies. I think these are just as good. Mine flatten after sitting out of the oven for a few minutes being slightly crispy on the outer edge and very (perfectly) gooey on the inside. I did exchange 1/2 of the a.p. flour for org soy flour trying to get away from some of the gluten. I'm wondering if that is why they flattened a little. But I don't mind. They are perfect! And I added pecans!

MMMMM... Brownies
These were really GREAT and everything I hoped for. I don't understand what others did to get cakey brownies but mine weren't like cake at all but very fudgy. I made them for the 2nd time last night and they were perfect. The 1st batch tasted good but the consistency was off. I felt it was something I did and no fault of the recipe. So the 2nd time around I did as other reviewers suggested and tempered the eggs and also left the pot on the stove (low heat) while melting the chocolate. I made sure to mix a lot better and longer the second time so that the batter was very smooth. My first batch was like others experienced - not done in the center and over done on the outside because I kept cooking to try and get the center done. Whatever changes I made the second time around with mixing really well, tempered eggs or whatever, I didn't have the problem the second time. They cooked for exactly the 30 minutes and are fabulous. I definitely want to try swirling peanut butter or adding pb chips the next time around. Will make these forever! These are also better for me than boxed (aside from the preservatives) because I am not supposed to have wheat and I can do my own thing. For anyone else with that issue, I used organic soy flour and it worked perfectly.
