Fugi Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
Yum! Love this without any changes. Served with steak and cut up the left overs and tossed with the leftover salad the next day - tasted wonderful!

Apple Turnovers

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
Just made these and they turned out great. Have to say that I've never worked with puff pastry before and should have read some of the suggestions in other reviews first. Got very frustrated and made a big mess trying to fill and seal. Thought they'd never turn out, but even though they went in the oven a gooey looking mess they still were delicious (didn't use the glaze, just served warm with ice cream)! Next time will try to drain and reserve some of the juice first as other reviewers have mentioned.

Slow Cooker Spicy Black-Eyed Peas

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
Made this for new year's and really liked it. I will definitely make it throughout the year. Only change based on others suggestions was to sub a can of chicken broth for some of the water and leave out the bullion. Loved having it in the crock pot while I worked on the rest of dinner!

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2008
This is so good and fairly simple. There are lots of spices to mix up though - so I usually make up a bunch of the spice mixture and keep it on hand for the future. Then it's a really easy week night dinner!

Quick Quiche

We really like this with very few changes. It's great for dinner and we tend to use sausage as the meat. It turns out great with very little effort!

Mock Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2008
We really love this - especially by making some pan gravy to go along with it. I use a mixture of gr sirloin and gr turkey to lighten it up a little and it still turns out great.

Chicken Salad Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2007
This turned out very good - I will definately make again! I served on toasted hard rolls which used more filling. I would probably double if serving more than 4 people.

Broccoli Salad Supreme

I made this to take to a party and it made a lot. Everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. I really like that you can put it together the night before and finish it off before serving.

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2007
This turned out great. I added some fresh okra too. I thought the shrimp got a little tough, next time might try like some others and use uncooked shrimp.

Barbequed Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2007
Turned out very tender and had just a hint of sweetness from the honey, not too much though. Will definately use this one again!

Marcia's Famous Sticky Buns

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
This turned out great and was very simple. Since a lot of other people used butterscotch I tried that and used pecans. So good! I'd say make sure you grease the pan really well though, a lot of my topping stuck.
