Vickie's Beer Bread
I did not care for this, I dont know why anyone likes it really, maybe i used a bad type of beer? Very strong beer flavor, btw. Still I dont think it would have matter, to each his own I guess

Sweet Coated Pecans
Ditto on using half white/dk brown sugar..spread some soft butter on foil inside a cookie sheet. Easy cleanup, also used 2 tbsps vanilla instead of the water...When done, I laid out on parchment paper and put some extra fine salt before they cooled. came out superb!

Seven Layer Bars
Whats not to like! I coated parchment paper with baker's spray, and used 2 cups of crumbs instead of 1 1/2 c. and an extra tbsp of butter (for a little thicker crust). I added 2 tbsp of milk to the sweetened canned milk and warmed it in the micro briefly to make easier to pour. I find that you need to press down firmly on the top to avoid crumbling. Cool before cutting, great!
