Brownie Caramel Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2005
This is an AWESOME recipe! Wonderfully rich and creamy. Just a little piece of advice...I've been making cheesecake for years and you NEVER grease a springform pan. If you gently run a butter knife around the edges of the pan as soon as it comes out of the oven, let it sit and come to room temp, run the knife gently around it again and refridgerate overnight you will have a cheesecake with a perfect look around the edges.

Texas Pralines

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2004
I've made this several times with PERFECT results every time. Something I have learned over the years making candy...you are wasting your time (and ingredients)making candy when it's humid or raining...the candy will NOT set up. Also, I cook these to 240 because they continue to cook while you are stirring in the nuts. These are perfectly buttery, soft, and absolutely the right texture for pralines! Thanks for the recipe!

Seafood Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2004
This is an excellent recipe but does need a few modifications. I used Monterry Jack cheese (2 cups)instead of cornstarch (as others suggested) to thicken up the sauce and I added small bay scallops and fresh minced garlic to the seafood food mix. Definately a keeper! Thanks!

New York Cheesecake III

Reviewed: May 10, 2004
This is a TERRIFIC cheesecake! A few words of advice to anyone making a cheesecake....YOU CAN NOT USE LOW FAT or FAT FREE cream cheese or sour cream in a cheesecake! Atleast if you want it to be thick, creamy and delicious. Also, all of your ingredients need to be at room temperature to blend well. Good luck fellow cheesecake lovers!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2004
I couldn't find the "fresh" fruit at a reasonable price so I used a frozen bag of mixed berries from Walmart mixed with what fresh strawberries I had in the fridge and this was EXCELLENT! My 4 year old and all of his little friends loved it! I will make this time and time again!

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2003
This is an awesome recipe! I made one loaf following the recipe exactly and to the other loaf I added 1/2C coconut, substituted pecans for walnuts, and drizzled 1/4 C melted butter over the bread during the last 5 minutes of baking. Both loaves were EXCELLENT! I've been looking for a good zucchini bread recipe for a long time and this one is it! Thanks for the wonderful recipe! As my 3 year old says "it's delectable"!

Baked Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2003
The first time I made this recipe it was definately missing something...but was still good. The second time I made it I added about 1T of brown sugar to the top of the chicken after I layed it in the pan. I also turned on the broiler for about 1-2 minutes before taking it out of the oven and it was more "carmelized" like I thought it would be the first time. My husband and son loved it but I am still expecting something else I guess.

This was an EXCELLENT recipe. I used Minute Rice and an entire can of broth. It turned out great and was just as good for lunch today with a can of drained chicken added!

These cookies were really good however I couldn't get the drizzle to actually "drizzle" it just fell in clumps so I left it off the rest of the cookies.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2001
I love peanut butter fudge and this is the recipe I've been searching for!! It tastes like the "old-fashioned" fudge that's so yummy! This is the perfect recipe if your looking for a traditional fudge without the marshmellow cream! Thanks for the wonderful, extremely easy to make recipe that me and my 2 year old son can't get enough of! I also want to say that the peanut butter used DOES make a difference! I've made this many times and Reeses p/b is the absolutely the best!

Li'l Cheddar Meat Loaves

Maybe I did something wrong...we did not like this recipe at all. My husband agreed that it tasted like BBQ mush. My 2 year old son (who loves meatloaf) wouldn't eat this at all. Sorry for the negative review.

No Bake Cookies II

This is the worst recipe I have ever used. I made it twice thinking I did something wrong the first time. The cookies don't set up at all. We couldn't even eat them because I had to spoon them off the wax paper. Finally, I threw them in the trash...TWICE! Horrible cookies!
