I grew up watching my mom cook, it was something that always interested me..now that I'm on my own with my husband I try any recipe that I can get my hands on..he has no complaints yet :D I love remaking recipes my mom used to make, finding recipes on here I thought I'd never see again are always wonderful. The first I can remember was cooking a turkey for thanksgiving one year as a teenager when my mom had the flu..it came out fantastic! Another was mastering gravy ;) cant stand the can stuff! Recently I tried an insanely chocolaty bundt cake recipe from the site, when I flipped it out of the pan it collapsed haha I had fun molding it into a shape though!
