This is a wonderful recipe that takes so little effort. I have made it twice, once with beer, and once without. It's good either way, but the beer does make it better. I made it for a family get-together and decided to decrease the chiles to better suit everyone's taste. I used one can regular tomatoes and one with chiles, and it was still very good. This gets pretty spicy with both the chiles and the taco seasoning. I also add a can of tomato soup, about 3/4 cup of cream (sounds crazy, but good), and thickened it with a little cornstarch. Everyone loved it. Don't leave out the "fixins", adding the cheese, tortilla chips, and sour cream really adds to it.
