Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2006
I had to add extra hot sauce to get the flavor right. My husband like "soupy" chili, so he was pleased with this one.

Pecan Puffs I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
I baked these cookies because I had lots of pecans in the cupboard. I don't bake very often, but thought they needed something... not sure what. My husband liked them but I thought it was just an average cookie.

Thunderbird Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
I added a bag of frozen mixed veggies. My husband and I really enjoyed it. If I make it again, I will probably add some garlic cloves.

Vinaigrette

Very tangy and very yummy. I reduced the salt by half and that was more than enough.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Very good cookies. Crisp around the edges with chewy centers. I've been looking for a good cookie recipe and I think I've found it! I'll be making these for my Christmas cookie exchange party.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
I followed the directions exactly (except for adding the glaze) and though the bread was delicious! I was worried that it might be a little too dry, but my fears were unfounded. I loved this bread and can't wait to make another batch.

All-Around Good Smoothie

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
Perfect for picky toddlers! I very rarely give a recipe 5-stars, but this one deserves it! I started making this smoothie for my picky two-year old for breakfast and he guzzles it right down. I used plain, full-fat yogurt and whole milk for him, so I know he's getting some calories for the day. I did not freeze the bananas and the consistency is perfect for his sippy cup. I love that it's not too sweet and has more of a yogurt consistency, instead of icy. This recipe has saved this worried mama's day!

Yum! I used chicken sausage, but found this recipe to be simple and satisfying. I will certainly add this soup to my repertoire.
