Lemon Coolers

I made a few changes and the flavor was great. I added the juice from 1/2 a lemon to the batter and mixed it in my Kitchenaid mixer and I had no problems getting everything to blend. I also ran the beater between batches to keep it well blended. I added a package of Lemonade flavored koolaid to the powdered sugar. It gave the cookies a bit of tartness that reminded me of the Lemon Coolers that I believe Sunshine used to make. Next time, I may cook them longer than recommended at a lower heat so they will get crunchy without browning and I'll dip them back into the powdered sugar/lemonade mixture after baking.

Bill's Sausage Gravy

I used turkey sausage and 2 cups of half & half and 1 cup of 1% milk and this gravy was fantastic! My kids and husband couldn't get enough of it. Thanks for sharing such a great recipe Bill!

Coffee Date Bread

I thought this recipe was very good. I added 1/4 tsp cinnamon and used 1 cup of brown suger instead of white sugar. I also tossed in some currants. I made muffins instead of a loaf of bread. This made 17 muffins baked at 350 degrees for about 17 minutes. Very moist and yummy.

The Best Oatmeal Cookies

These really are the Best Oatmeal Cookies! I added currants, dried cranberries and dates rather than raisins and I can't keep the kids and husband out of them.

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

This was the best frosting! I made it in vanilla and chocolate and both were very tasty! My mom even raved about it and she used to decorate cakes professionally!

Crazy Crust Pizza Dough

I used one egg, as others had suggested and also baked the crust for 10 minutes before adding toppings then an additional 10 minutes. I did not have oregano on hand, so I used Italian seasoning and it was very tasty. I had no problem with the crust sticking to the pan...I sprayed it well with butter spray and also sprinkled the pan with cornmeal. This is the perfect no yeast crust!

Fry Sauce

I added about an 1/8 cup of barbecue sauce (maybe a little more) to this recipe and it tasted just like the o-ring sauce from Red Robin. My kids loved it!

Turkey Delight

My family loved this dish! I used home made mashed potatoes, Stove Top stuffing, packaged gravy mix and left over turkey. It turned out very flavorful and the turkey was not dry at all.
