I've been preparing meals since I was in high school, but usually that just meant popping chicken in the oven, or doing oodles and noodles or some other quick thing on the stove or in the microwave. I became vegetarian, and depended a lot on subway for veggie sandwiches or stop and shop salads. But time to turn over a new leaf. I'm a grown up now. I can't eat fast food all the time, or buy frozen dinners all the time either. So, I am going to learn to cook for myself and my boyfriend.
My cooking triumphs
I created a recipe for Holiday Pumpkin Cupcakes, and am proud to say they came out very nicely. I substitute alot of things in my recipes, like egg substitutes and healthy living butter. So for me, having these recipes come out nicely is a triumph.
