Sauteed Swiss Chard with Parmesan Cheese

Great recipe! I received some swiss chard in our weekly CSA box and wasn't sure what to do with it or if my family would like it. Thank goodness I found this recipe. It's easy and very flavorful. Thank you so much.

Potato Leek Soup III

Great soup. Simple flavors that work very well together. I especially liked that this recipe did not use bacon as, in my opinion, it would over power the delicate flavor of the leeks. I sprinkled it with chopped chives and served it alongside sliced and toasted baguette topped with melted Gruyere. Needless to say, it was a huge hit! My husband LOVED it and complained that I didn't make enough. Note: I did cut the butter in half and used half and half instead of heavy cream. Also, since I pureed the soup I didn't feel the need for cornstarch. It was wonderful. Thank you.

Ghirardelli® Triple Chocolate Truffle Cake

Wonderful extra chocolately cake! My family and I loved it! I followed the recipe as written and had great results. I also used fresh raspberries to decorate the cake and it was divine. I did, however, have to use a 9 inch spring form pan because I didn't have a regular 9 x 2 round cake pan. Came out perfect! Thank you for a great chocolate cake recipe.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

This was very good. Grilled chicken breast can be very bland and uneventful, but this sauce made it absolutely flavorful. My husband really liked it and he's hard to please. Thank you for a great recipe.

Wonderful! I half the amount of white bread used and substitute it with corn bread. My family LOVES this stuffing. Will never go back to the boxed stuff again. THANKS

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops

I marinated my chops in apple juice for about an hour before grilling. I also seasoned the chops well with salt and pepper. Came out great. My family loved them.

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Very good. I used panko bread crumbs for that extra crunch. I also added a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar to the Dijon mustard. I served it on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. All surrounded by bit of lamb stock reduction for added flavor. Absolutely WONDERFUL!

Easy Key Lime Pie I

I, too, followed the suggestions and used 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk, 4 yolks, and 1 cup of freshly squeezed key lime juice. Baked it for 25 minutes. Absolutely, delicious!!

Carrot Cake III

Very good. I, too, used 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 cup of white sugar instead of the 2 cups of white sugar. Since I was making a 9 in two layer cake I needed more frosting and added another 8 oz pkg of cream cheese. I also only used 3 cups of powdered sugar and it was perfect. 4 cups sounded a bit too sweet. THANKS!

Rosemary Braised Lamb Shanks

Very good. I did, however, add 1 beef boulain cube at the end when I was reducing the sauce. I wanted a deeper flavor. There was a lot of liquid left-over and took about 45 minutes of boiling on high to get it down to the consistency I wanted. Overall, a great recipe thanks!!
