Chewy Brownie Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
I used this recipe to make tuxedo brownie cups with a white chocolate cream cheese filling. Filled greased mini-muffin cups 2/3 full with batter and baked for 10 minutes. Press the center down immediately after taking out of the oven. Cool for a few minutes and they pop out perfectly (which never seems to happen with the boxed brownie mixes). Delish!

Bananas Foster Belgian Waffles

I made the bananas foster topping according to the recipe and used it on top of pancakes. Added a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was better than what you get at IHOP! Delicious!!

Tangy Buttermilk Cheese Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
I did not have cheddar on hand, so instead used asiago cheese in the bread dough. I also used my baking stone for a more artisan look to the loaf. WOW - it tasted just like the asiago bagels from Panera. I used left over bread to make garlic toast the following day. It tasted just like Cheez-it crackers with garlic. Yummy with spaghetti!

Dry Ranch Style Seasoning for Dip or Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
I followed other recommendations and skipped the pepper. Also used 1/4 tsp seasoned salt + 1/4 tsp regular salt. I did not have buttermilk on hand, so I incorporated 1 TBSP powdered buttermilk with the dry ingredients before adding 2 cups sour cream. Delicious as a veggie dip!

Cookie Jar Gingersnaps

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
Very yummy. I used butter rather than shortening and they were crispy on the outside and chewey in the inside. My husband says they should be a new holiday tradition!
