Cake Balls

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2014
Cake balls/pops are delicious and, yes, time consuming. This recipe gets only 2 stars due to the fact that it is a huge bowl of mush... One box of cake requires a HALF container frosting, and add more until consistency is NOT MUSH. When using far less frosting, sticks hold well and balls do not fall apart when dipped.

Too much lemon. Will use blender, as others have suggested, for Hollandaise.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 24, 2013
these cookies turned out AMAZING!! they really are delicious...i made only a few changes and that was for my personal choice. in exchange for the sugar i used 1/2 C of regular sugar and 1/2 C of stevia in the raw. and instead of butter i used 1 C of the smart balance omega 3 spread. otherwise i followed the directions to the T and they turned out DELICOUS...the time and oven temperature are spot on..i will definitly use this recipe from now on to make chocolate chip cookies:)

make homemade buttermilk: *Milk (just under one cup) *1 Tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice 1. Place a Tablespoon of white vinegar or lemon juice in a liquid measuring cup. 2. Add enough milk to bring the liquid up to the one-cup line. 3. Let stand for five minute. Then, use as much as your recipe calls for.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
Heart Healthy. Nutritious. Delicious. Simple. Low Calorie. Monounsaturated Fat. This has to be one of the easiest dishes to make for the flavor. I didn't have parsley - will try another time. Covered casserole and baked about 35 minutes @ 400 degrees; then uncovered and broiled 3 minutes. DELICIOUS! Will make again and again. Will also try with sliced carrots.

General Tsao's Chicken II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
OMGoooooooodnesssss! Yummy! Better than some I've had in restaurants. I forgot to put the chiles in - will get some Japanese peppers; also, didn't have peanut oil - but will get some. My children and I loved it! We love spicy, so will be really good with the chiles. Definitely not a 'quick' meal, but so worth the extra time. We love vegetables, and so I stir-fried carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms. What a wonderful and healthful meal - my picky son had seconds! Will make this again, often :) Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
Wonderful! I used beans I had soaked overnight in fridge and cooked myself; didn't dry them - were fine! I sauteed pepper, onion, and shredded carrots and at last minute, garlic - then ran through food processor. Would be great with corn niblets or anything else you like in your veggie burger. Also, sauteed sliced mushrooms and placed atop burger - next time will saute sliced onions with mushrooms to top. Dressed with red leaf lettuce, sliced tomato and red onion, as well as chipotle mayo. Next time will try Bobby Flay's chipotle mayo from 'Sliders with Chipotle Mayonnaise' @ foodnetwork.com . My girls loved these and I served with Roasted Cajun Potatoes, By: Tamra Duncan @ Allrecipes.com (love these potatoes!) Bon Appetit!
