Dutch Honey Syrup

Way better than the store-bought syrup I normally use. Wasn't sure of what type of sugar to use, but I went with half white/half brown and it had a delicious caramel-y taste. Next time I'd use less vanilla extract, though. I mixed some with peanut butter and and put it on the Fluffy Pancakes from this site and it was amazing!

Fluffy Pancakes

These were delicious! I'm definitely using this pancake recipe from now on. I did make a couple changes, however. Instead of white sugar, I used brown (and added about 1/2 tbsp more than it called for), I also added in some vanilla extract and cinnamon. Paired it with the Dutch Honey Syrup from this site and got rave reviews.

Marshmallow Treats

delicious and easy to work with. we shaped ours into a beetle type creature and then covered it in fondant.

Caroline's Chocolate Fudge Frosting

This frosting was really good! I used soy milk (a bit less than called for) and spread it over Peanut Butter Brownies (found the recipe on this site). They turned out delicious- will definitely save this recipe.

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

These were pretty good! I was feeling a little iffy while pulling them out of the oven as the edges were quite brown and I wasn't sure if the middle was cooked thoroughly. However, after frosting them, they looked perfectly fine and tasted delicious.

Crumb-Topped Rhubarb

Pretty good. I doubled the recipe and replaced two of the cups of rhubarb with mixed berries. If I make it again, the only thing I'll do differently is to add more rhubarb and berries and less of the topping (as parts of it were very thick).

Hot Vanilla

Yum, this is really tasty! I didn't exactly measure out the ingredients, though (just played it by ear). Also, I used soy milk rather than 2% milk.

Honey Lemon Tea

I've always made a similar drink whenever I have a sore throat (but without the sugar). It's delicious and it really helps! Although it's definitely better made with fresh lemon juice, it's fine with non-fresh also.

Butter Frosting

Pretty good. It was very sweet, though, so I probably should've used something else to frost my super sweet cookies. Oh well. Also, instead of vanilla extract, I used peppermint.

Cornbread Muffins I

We used canned corn instead of frozen and added in some garlic. They were pretty good- moist and sweet. Usually, I drizzle honey over cornbread muffins before eating them, but these ones certainly didn't need any.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These were really good- very addicting! They were soft and chewy, which is how I like my cookies, and disappeared almost instantly. Even my sister, who claims that she hates ginger, enjoyed them (in fact, I do believe that she ate the majority of them...).

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Wow, I think I found my new sugar cookie recipe. :) These are awesome. I put lemon curd on some of them, but really, they taste wonderful on their own. And I loved that I didn't have to take the time to refrigerate and roll them out.

Microwave Lemon Curd

As I didn't have any fresh lemons on hand, I used bottled lemon juice. Also, for some reason mine took FOREVER to microwave. It still turned out completely smooth and delicious, though. I put spoonfuls of it on top of freshly baked sugar cookies- everyone loved them!

This recipe was terrific! It didn't taste all that delicious by itself, but on the sugar cookies- it was perfect! I also liked that it didn't get all hard when it dried.

Peanut Butter Cookies IV

Loved this recipe. They looked and tasted great. Except for the first batch, which I cooked for 11 minutes and came out too crunchy and brown. I cooked the rest for only 9 minutes, though, and they came out perfect- crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.

Shrimp and Peanut Butter Noodles

Really good recipe. I just made the peanut butter sauce and poured it over plain noodles (because I dislike shrimp and broccoli) and most everyone in my family seemed to enjoy it. One of my sisters even begged me to make her just the sauce so she could use it as a salad dressing.
